The Lemuel Baker Center for Learning is a department of Lemuel Baker Ministries that develops literature and educational materials to contribute to an international audience interested in objective, research based information concerning biblical topics that may require in-depth study by cross referencing other disciplines to support biblical content. This online Learning Center also serves as an educational supplement for Pastors, Christian Leaders and potential leaders in remote geographical areas with no access to an accredited Christian curriculum.
Other disciplines such as Archeology, History, Astronomy, Jewish Studies and Natural Sciences are separate disciplines that support bible claims and when explored give peace of mind to adherents of Christianity but also to those of other belief systems who seek an objective scholarly study of the Christian Bible.
Archeology in particular is imperative to Christian Apologetics to provide primary evidence needed to prove claims of the Old and New Testaments. All human beings and civilizations if indeed real or if they indeed existed in the past must leave debris behind such as pottery, inscriptions, utensils they used and houses they lived in. It is the job of a true scholar to find this debris or primary evidence to substantiate all biblical claims. To date there is more than enough debris or archeological discoveries available to easily prove that the Christian Bible is historically accurate.
Apologetics which means a defense of the faith, to persuade, providing evidence sufficient to bringing a trial from an arraignment stage to a full blown trial, which was engaged by the Apostle Paul, in a literal sense when he stayed in Corinth for a year and a half just to teach, to reason with and to answer questions for the Corinthian believers and seekers who had honest questions. The Apostle Paul also engaged apologetics when persuading King Agrippa. The great Apostle Paul knew by the leading of The Holy Spirit when to preach, when to teach and when to sit with people and when to answer their questions so that the barriers to their believing would be removed. See Acts 18:11 which records "So Paul stayed in Corinth for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God."
The Mission of the LBCL is to provide to it's audience information regarding the TanaK or the Jewish Bible, The Talmud, the Jewish Oral Law but also to contribute a multi-disciplinary approach to understanding our Christian Bible and finally to show that Christianity after much debunking and research is objectively the only belief system that holds water, has no holes in it's claims, can be tested scientifically and historically in real time as any other reputable discipline should be tested.
The Goals for the Lemuel Baker Center for Learning is to encourage the following with regards to the document we accept as the Christian Bible:
-
The Bible we currently use today is in essence the same as was given to the Ancient prophets and to the original twelve Apostles with few minor variations which do not alter the original meaning declared in the original documents.
-
Knowledge that writings of antiquity such as from Aristophanes, Plato and others we have enjoyed for centuries have original documents that date back to 1000 AD while Christianity has original documents and fragments that date back to early dates of 45-70 AD. The Old and New Testaments are authentic documents corroborated by Archeology, Astronomy and Natural Sciences.
-
Encourage critical thinking and logical thinking essential to deciding which information deserves to be valid and which information does not follow logically and thus cannot be accepted as a supporting fact.
-
Both the Old and New Testament owe Judaism and the documents from the Tanak as the source that God used to give to Christianity His Law and ultimately our Messiah.
-
Redemption through Jesus Christ and Him alone as we understand that all biblical claims in the Old and New Testaments have been verified and if biblical claims are verified then Jesus' personal claims are also true such as "I am the Son of God." All humans should have peace of mind and be satisfied with their decision to follow Christ along side the peace of spirit that comes with following Him.
-
Familiarity with Judaism and the varied beliefs and
values within Judaism itself.
-
There are three pillars of sustained success which are as follows and if there is a breach of any of the three pillars the success experience will be halted until the broken pillar is rebuilt:
1. Preparation and mastery of skill sets
2. Sustained good character
3. Wisdom and making appropriate decisions
May the Lord Jesus Christ Himself bless you and reveal Himself to you as you seek Him with all your heart. He promises to reveal Himself to all who seek Him with all their heart.

Focus verses for 2023 - Philippians 4:13 " For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength."
Corinthians 12:9-11 New International Version
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Habakkuk 3:19. “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.
